Privacy Notice

Mindber stores account information needed to sign you in, keep saved tools, record submissions, and protect the platform from abuse. This notice explains what we collect, how long we keep it, and your rights under GDPR and applicable privacy laws.

What we collect

We collect account profile details, authentication identifiers, saved tools, unlocked profiles, watchlists, ratings, submissions, verification actions, and billing records for paid subscribers.

When analytics is permitted, we collect page views, searches, outbound clicks, comparison activity, referrers, UTM parameters, approximate device details, and coarse geography. IP addresses may be truncated or transformed into anti-abuse signals.

How it is used

We use data to operate the directory, personalize dashboards, deliver paid features, process payments, prevent abuse, send transactional email, and improve rankings, discovery, and reporting.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember security state, and store consent choices. Analytics and non-essential tracking are disabled by default in GDPR regions until consent is given.

The mb_consent cookie records whether analytics is granted or denied for up to 180 days. It is not an authentication token.

Third-party services

Mindber uses Stripe for payments, email providers for transactional email, and Google or GitHub when you sign in through those services. Analytics providers load only when configured and permitted by consent.

Retention

Active account data is kept while the account is active. Billing records are retained for accounting and tax obligations. Audit, security, and activity-signal records are retained only as needed for operations and compliance.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Depending on your location, you may also object to processing, restrict processing, withdraw non-essential analytics consent, or request review of automated decisions.

Data transfers

Data may be processed by service providers in the EU, UK, US, or other regions under standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections where required.

Questions

For formal data requests, corrections, or deletion review, contact the Mindber team through your account area or email support@mindber.com.
